The 2nd annual Global Friends of Afghanistan’s Conference was organized by Global Friends of Afghanistan in collaboration and partnership of the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies under the theme of “Human Rights and Pathways to Afghanistan’s Stability” from October 1st to October 3rd, 2023, in Virginia, USA.

The main objective of this conference was to provide assistance to recently arrived Afghan immigrants in the United States. 
The three day’s conference focused on enhancing the integration of Afghan immigrants into the United States, along with exploring employment and educational opportunities. Another key focus of the conference was the current situation in Afghanistan, with specific attention to human rights for all with emphasis on women, education, and humanitarian aid.  Participants discussed issues that need pragmatic approaches, and formation of and inclusive government.
