A platform for dialogue, with a focus on the key issues pertaining to Afghanistan and Regional countries’ strategic partnership, the role of regional and extra-regional players in establishing peace and security in Afghanistan, and areas of mutual interest between Afghanistan and the Regional countries.
Afghanistan’s First International Award, initiated by AISS to honor distinguished individuals, institutions, initiatives, and projects advocating dialogue, intercultural exchange, mutual coexistence, and non-violent approaches. The Award is named after one of the World’s renowned scholars, Avicenna whose work transcended cultural and geographical boundaries.
The Herat Security Dialogues (HSD) is an annual international dialogue organized by AISS that brings domestic, regional, and international experts and officials together to discuss issues pertaining to Afghanistan's multiple crises. HSD aims to provide a stimulating opportunity for dialogues and the exchange of ideas among key stakeholders and perspectives.
