On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies and the Grandview Institution of China co-organized a virtual dialogue on the "Evolving Situation in Afghanistan and Region" among Afghan and Chinese scholars. The panel discussions mainly focused on the economic, social, and military situation in Afghanistan, assessment of China-Afghanistan bilateral relations, the formation of the new government and its foreign policy, and the new administration’s relations with the US and the west and with neighboring countries.
