On Sunday, 05 December 2021, Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies held a virtual roundtable discussion on "Emirate Interaction with Universities". The speakers were Faisal Karimi, a university professor and journalist, and Mohammad Davood Qayoomi, a university lecturer and researcher in peace studies, and Mr. Sayeed Hossain Anwar, a journalist, hosted the program.

In this roundtable, the speaker spoke about the acceptance of the new education system and the future of female students in the education system. According to the speakers, the Taliban will not gain national and international legitimacy unless they adopt acceptable approaches and mechanisms that are not be accepted by the nation and the international community. According to the speaker, the Taliban need domestic and foreign support, and it happens when or they change their behaviors.
