Online Roundtable Discussion on Migration Memories


On Thursday, 16 December 2021, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies-AISS held an online roundtable discussion on “Migration Memories”. In this program, Mr. Farid Hemmat, civil society activist
Mr. Esmatollah Jafari, University lecturer, and Ms. Niloufar Ayoubi, a women's rights activist were the speakers. The roundtable was moderated by Ms. Shukria Mashal, the human rights activist.
In this roundtable, the speakers talked about their problems after leaving the country and the challenges they face in the host countries. According to them, Afghans who have left the country after the recent political upheavals are called refugees, so migrants are better off because of migration.
