Afghanistan, India and Iran Trilateral Dialogue-IV

4th Afghanistan, India and Iran Trilateral Dialogue (AIID-IV)

The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies, the Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses of India (MP-IDSA) and the Institute for Political and International Studies of Iran (IPIS) co-organized the "4th Round of Afghanistan-India-Iran Trilateral Dialogue" through a virtual discussion among Afghan, Indian, and Iranian scholars and government officials. The panel discussions mainly focused on Afghanistan peace processes, economic cooperation and connectivity and regional cooperation.

This series of Trilateral Dialogues is being co-organized by the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) in collaboration with the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA) and the Iranian Institute for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IPIS).

The first, second and third meetings were held in Tehran (24-25 July 2016), Kabul (31 July -03 August 2017) and New Delhi (7 June 2021) respectively.
