On Monday, 13 December 2021, the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies-AISS held an online roundtable discussion on”Unemployment Journalists and Dependent Media”. Mr.Mujeb Mehrdad, writer and university lecturer; Mr. Waheed Paiman, Journalist; Mr. Abdul Wahab Sediqi, researcher and university lecturer were the speakers and the program was moderated by Mr. Farhad Haqiar, Ph.D. candidate in journalism.
Speakers talked about the vulnerability of society in absence of free media and committed journalists and pointed out that most of women reporters have lost their jobs. They said that everything is in bad condition in the condition in Afghanistan including the media and there is no hope for the future.
